AbstractSparse stands, up to 200 plants per ha, of mesquite, creosote bush and tarbush may be economically controlled with an individual plant treatment of fenuron pellets or other dry herbicides. Aerial spraying with 2, 4, 5-T is also an economical method of reclaiming mesquite-infested areas. The treatment also affords an excellent method of increasing production of perennial grasses.
